Wooohh, the weather's soooo awesome right now! Sunny, really warm, I've already had my first sunburn of the year *lol*. The horses are finally out on the fields again, we are able to wear t-shirts all day, oh it's just great!

Hey,
and again it's been soooo long since my last post. And well, quite a lot has happened. That is, not that much, but enough for me. Finally, the way-too-long days of being single are over! Got to know a nice lad and I'm so f-ing happy! D., love ya! And miss you already but hope you have loads of fun home in England, see you in 2,5 weeks! Can't wait!

By the way, right now I've got 2 weeks off work, isn't that great! Bad thing is, when they're over, the training for the final exams will begin and that'll be really hard! But at least we'll be sent to Münster again for a couple of days!
So, what else? Only 3,5 months till my visit to the USA! I'll see my little sis again and that'll be the most exciting vacations I've ever had! Just me and Dad travelling through the East of the US, 1 week in New York and then all the way up to Canada for 2 weeks! Yay!
Speaking of the US, though: 5 years of war in Iraq. Didn't realise it's been such a long time - how much more years are to come? I want it to end. I don't want more people to die over there, I don't want to think about the children there, and damnit I don't want my boyfriend to go over there in November! When I told him that I might still come to England with him next year to get to know his family, I wanted him to say "Yeah that would be cool" instead of "I may be dead then"! I don't wanna hear anything like that, and when he said it he sounded as if he wasn't taking it serious, but damnit I do! So you politicians over there better find a solution soon!!! *rants*

Hey, it's been a while again...
So Germany lost the semifinal - but you don't really wanna know that right?
However, this weekend is great so far! Sunny, nice people, alcohol *g* Tomorrow I'm gonna go for a long ride with my horse, with a friend, I'm so much looking forward to that! Last week was awesome, we went for a 3,5 hr ride, incredible!
Furthermore, I got to watch the latest SPN episode "Dream a little dream of me", and I loved it! Took my breath, actually, but I loved it! Can't wait for the next one!

Yay! The German handball team has reached the semifinal of the European Championship! Damn that was a hell of a fight! Aweseome, that was one of the most exciting matches ever! And no matter what happened, if it was Roggisch's injury or Klimovic's 2min suspension, we always fought back, fought even more! Of course it wa sometimes also bad luck for the Swedish team, but in the end we deserved it. Yesterday's defeat against France had already been quite a great match despite the French victory, we deserved it. So on Saturday it'll be Denmark, that's gonna be tough but I'm sure we'll win it!
What I just don't get is those stupid EHF rules - 3 matches within 3 days, 8 matches in 2 weeks, that is too much! One of those officials should have seen our players today, hobbling, holding their arms and legs, the doc running to them every few minutes, Mimi Kraus lying outside, etc... that's irresponsible! After all, it's called sport! But this extreme physical stress is just not fair! They have to think about that, and fast, otherwise there won't be many great players left in the future. One championship per year (WC, EC, plus Olympic Games every 4 years like in 2008), in the middle of the Bundesliga season, National Handball Cup, EHF Cup, Champions League - that's way to much! No football player would ever do that, let alone for that kinda low income. Although I love handball and love all those championships, I'd rather see them every 2 years but with players who are really fit.

Okay I could go on like that for ages, but I don't want to.

I was so shocked on Wednesday morning when I read about Heath Ledger's death! It still seems so irreal! RIP Heath, we won't forget you!

Ok, I shouldn't be posting here right now - I ought to be learning and doing my homework. But - surprise surprise - I just don't want to. I don't want to learn for the class test on Wednesday, and I don't want to write that application for my German class that's due on Wednesday as well (counts as a class test).
Work was a bit boring today, I'm in another department now because my co-worker got severely ill, and she's the one who was supposed to teach me about HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography). I hope she gets alright soon...
Well, I still love SPN, and I've nearly caught up - I watched 3x01, "Bad Day at Black Rock" yesterday. And I must say that this show never seizes to amaze me. I made more fanarts, but I guess I have to post all but one behind the cut as they contain spoilers.

I know it's still quite a long time till the Euro Cup 2008 in Austria/ Switzerland, but I'm already looking forward to it! Well, the last match of our team wasn't good, just a 0-0 draw against Wales, but at least we're qualified. Not like England... *sighs* how the hell could that happen? That's so stupid, how could they give it away like that? I don't get it, it's a shame, and I'd be even more furious, but I'm actually very down ever since I got the news this morning. I know it's unusual for a German girl, but I love the English team nearly as much as I love the German team. I suffered a lot during the last WC and EC, and I hoped that it'd be better next year - but I was wrong, and that sucks!!!

However, needless to ramble, isn't it? Maybe I should distract myself with a new SPN episode ;) Oh I'm so addicted to that show! My RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance) is 1 episode per day, I guess *g* I've made it to the middle of season 2 so far, and I won't stop till I'll have caught up with the Americans^^

I was in the mood for some fanart, couldn't really concentrate on fanfiction. And as SPN is such a great show and I fell in love with Dean^^... I really love that show, I've watched season 1 and the first 3 episodes of season 2 so far.
However, not much to write today, somehow this weekend kinda sucked (but for Friday night, disco was awesome, was home at 6 am *g* great music, great people!).

I hate winter. I really do. It's cold, it gets dark early, driving is more dangerous, argh it sucks! It's about 2°C outside, and I'm waiting for the guy from the car service to call back - I need snow tires, and I called him 1,5 hours ago and I've been waiting for his call ever since. I's not so difficult to check the old tires, tell me if I have to buy new ones and tell when I can come, isn't it? Whatever... I have all the time in the world. It's not that I could spend my time on better things than waiting. *rolleyes*
And if this wasn't enough, this download I've running right now is so incredibly slow! This day can only get better. It has to.

...since you last saw me. Yeah, it's really been a long time since my last post. I was quite busy with my fanfic, videos, fanarts, not to mention the wonderful real life ;)
I had a nice week off last week, I really needed that. But unfortunately it was over too soon... I spent a lot of time at the stable, and with my friends of course. Now I'm back at work, and on Monday it was so hard to get up early again!
I still miss my sister, but it's getting easier now. Well, it has to, hasn't it? *sighs*
Actually I don't have much to tell you right now. Okay I could rant about supermarkets selling christmas sweets and stuff in the middle of October; I could tell you that I don't want winter... but whatever.

Work sucks right now. It really does. It's boring, I don't like my boss and I can't stand the girl I have to work with. You know, I work at the Fed. Research Institute for Nutrition and Food and now that it's harvest time we have a lot to do, and this year I have to help. That means preparing the crop samples for further analysis, so all I do the whole day is opening bags with crops, emptying them, clean the crops, put them into plastic boxes or paper bags or whatever, and I'm so pissed off... And this stupid girl... I had hoped to never see her again now that she's finished her training, but as she hasn't found a job yet she's still with us... I'm so demotivated, I never thought I'd ever actually look forward to going to school... But school was today so I have still 2 days left till the weekend - and those weekends pass by so fast these days...
I wish my sister was here, but the little girl is in the USA now... for one year... and dammit I miss her! It feels so strange being alone at home with my parents, without anyone to just visit for a quick talk when I'm bored. I have my friends and co-workers but it's not the same.
I hate being such a melancholic idiot but sometimes I just can't help myself, I'm sorry for that. Maybe reading sad fanfiction isn't such a good idea these days... ;)
Well, I think I'll go to bed now, tomorrow will be a hard day. And I can't wait for it to be over.

Tomorrow I'll have to go to work again, but somehow I'm not even sad that my vacations are over, at least I'll do something instead of only staying at home getting depressed by the rain. *lol*

Wow, what can I say? Today I finished the last part of an awesome story. I grew up with Harry Potter, and now that it's all come to an end I'm quite upset. It was such a strange feeling today, turning the last page, knowing that after 9 years all this had reached its final end. It was, anyway, a perfect ending, it had everything I loved about HP - friendship, love, tragedy, action, a thrilling plot and a puzzle that's finally put together. I could tell you a lot more but I don't wanna spoil here, so the rest is behind the cut!


Oh my, I'm really sad that it's over now, I never miss HP when there are no new books, but at least I always knew there would be a new one soon - and now there's nearly nothing. Nothing but the films - but on the other hand, that's something to look forward to, isn't it?

Didn't I say in my last post that I was looking forward to returning to Münster? Well, it wasn't so good actually - soemone stole my bag with my purse in it! My ID, drivers license, credit cards, cell phone - just everything. I had to block my bank account at 3am, being drunk and tired and totally shocked. And of course I can only blame myself for taking the bag with me into a crowded pub where everyone is drunk and no one's paying attention to anything but the hot man/ woman next to oneself. *lol* (I tell you, this one guy was really cute^^) Anyways, now I have to get my license back, luckily yesterday I got a phone call from Münster, a girl has found my ID card, she'll bring it to the hotel! :) So I haven't given up hope yet that the other stuff was/ will be found, too. I'll call the lost and found tomorrow again, maybe during the weekend someone has found something. Keep your fingers crossed!
Tomorrow will be an important day as my sister will go to America for one year. Her boyfriend and me will bring her to Hanover airport, and it will be very hard seeing her leave. She's not only my little sister but also my best friend, and I'll miss her like hell, but I know that this is an experience she'll never make again and I don't want her to miss that. And well, at least I'll visit her next year!
Ok, this is it, I need to finish making her goodbye-present and the weather's good so I'll go to my horse soon.

Hello everybody!
I haven't written for a while which is mainly because I was in Münster last week (and will return there on Monday). I'm working there learning how to use gas chromatography (gc). It's not hard work and our working time is perfect - from 9 to 3 *lol* And well, Münster is a wonderful city, I love it there. I hope I'll be able to study there next year. There are so many bars, it's hard not to go out at night! On Wednesday we started at the "Himmel und Hölle" (Heaven and Hell) where there's happy hour from 9pm to 2am, when you get cocktails (0,4 l) for 3,90 € and cocktails in a pitcher (1,3 l) for 9,90 €. When you enter the bar you can either go left upinto Heaven or right down into hell. Guess where we went! :D If that's what hell is like, then I'm not worried about anything anymore.  Cheap drinks, good rock and metal music - what else do I want? We went on to the "Destille" (destillery?), a pub which is always very crowded, with loud music and again cheap drinks. Very cool place to go! And finally my best friend and I went to the "Gogo Rose Club". Sounds naughty, but it isn't. Like a small disco, with a very very small dancing area, they play punk rock, metal,alternative - it totally rocked! I survived my first pogo *lol*, it started when they played Billy Talent and didn't stop for a long time, I still have some bruises but it was worth it! 8) I'll return on Monday, and I'm really looking forward to it, if only I didn't have to leave my horse here...

I just watched "Sophie Scholl - Die letzten Tage" and it made me cry. This girl was 21, as old as I am now, and she fought for her ideas and died for them.  For those of you who haven't heard about her:

The trial scene sent shivers down my spine, seeing all those men in uniform, shouting "Heil Hitler" and being so stupid and narrow-minded. Did they really believe Germany still had chanced on winning the war? They blamed the White Rose for destroying the country - but it was them who destroyed it.
What scares me most is that there are still people who actually support this Nazi idea. We're a free country, everybody has freedom of thoughts and all, but how can someone even think that Hitler's idea was right? I don't get it, and I hate those who believe in it. I know I shouldn't hate, I should ask myself why they they believe in this shit, but honestly, I can't. We know what happened, and we know that it was terrible. So how can anyone still think it was right?
I'm a coward. I should do something against it, but I don't even participate in demonstrations against right-winged people. All I do is vote.
But I guess it's better than nothing.

Not much to say, actually, but that I'm tired. I got home at 2am today and got up at 7.30 am to go to the stable. My horse is getting better! :)

Yesterday we were in Paderborn, just to hang out in some pubs and have a few drinks. We wanted to go to the Irish pub but as they showed the football match England vs. Estnia we decided to go somewhere else. Wasn't really, I'm looking forward to tomorrow when a friend of mine celebrates his birthday. Hope the weather will be okay, we want to go camping. And on Saturday we'll go to the Irish pub again, Tim Onions will be there to make live music, this guys rocks!

I don't know yet what I'll do tonight... we'll see.

Btw the examination was quite ok, pretty easy but I guess I've made some minor mistakes. Hope to get the results soon!
